Swiss ocean carrier Mediterranean Shipping Co. said it is raising rates on container shipments from the Far East to the Caribbean, the East Coast of Central America, Cartagena and Venezuela.
The rate increases are $300 per 20-foot dry container and $600 per 40-foot dry and 40-foot high-cube container and go into effect June 1.
MSC is also raising rates from the Far East to the Middle East and Indian Subcontinent by $200 per TEU on June 1. |
