Project cargo network expands in Middle East and Africa
Heavy-lift, over-dimensional, 3PL specialists, the Project Professionals Group, has oiled its transportation wheels in the Middle East and Africa with the appointment of new members in
Egypt
and
Syria
.
PPG general manager Kevin Stephens said the appointments recognised the importance of the Middle East and
Africa
as regional and global distribution and transhipment hubs.
Damascus-based Yamintrans is the new member in
Syria
, and Cairo-based Horus Shipping & Transport will represent the PPG in
Egypt
.
According to Stephens, these appointments further expand the PPG network throughout the Middle East and
Africa
, where a strong network is critical for members in other parts of the world where manufacturers demand a reliable pathway that ensures safe delivery of plant and equipment.
The PPG is now represented by 140 member offices in 93 countries.
